backup, click on File and then Backup. A window will pop up to select a destination for your backup. You will need to backup to an external source such as a floppy disk or a zip disk. Select the drive you wish to backup to and press Save. If a prior backup exists, the computer will ask you if you want to replace it. Say Yes and continue. You may also want to alternate disks when backing up. Having two or more backup sources can be very helpful in case a disk goes bad or some other error happens. For some, a backup disk for every day of work during a week may be better yet. |
