QuickBooks Tip Memorizing Reports
QuickBooks allows you to create reports with specific information. As a way to save time, you can "memorize" these specialized reports so they can be used again without having to recreate them. |

To memorize, just click the "Memorize" button at the top of the report.. Give your report a unique name. For QuickBooks versions 2001 and higher, you also have the option of saving to a user-defined group. |

Remember, the report will show the data for the period you indicated when you memorized. So if you had "This Month" on the report you saved, you will get the current month the next time you use the report. If you want your report to be for the prior month, change the period to "Last Month" before memorizing.
To recall the report you memorized, go to Reports, then Memorized Reports. From the list, select the report you wish to view. |
