Meet Our Team > Su Brown, CPA Email Su Susan N. Brown is the owner of Su Brown and Associates, PLLC, a certified public accounting firm located in Lewiston, Idaho. She has been licensed to practice in Idaho since 1981. Su has extensive experience in tax services, financial statement compilation and review services, and financial consulting. She has experience in dealing with a broad range of industries including real estate; wholesale distributors; retailers; construction contractors; medical, dental, and law practices; independent security brokers; non-profit organizations; internet service providers; computer consultants; and other service industries. She also provides extensive tax accounting services, business planning, litigation support and management services. Su started her professional accounting career in 1979 after graduating from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. Su worked twelve years in public accounting prior to her experiences with the world of private accounting. She started her own CPA firm in April of 1996. She was awarded Volunteer of the Year for 1997 by the Lewiston Chamber of Commerce in March 1998. Other community involvement includes affiliations with the Valley Boys and Girls Clubs, Inc. (past director), Opportunities Unlimited, Inc. (past director), Lewis Clark Economic Development Corporation (past director), Lewiston Chamber of Commerce (past director and past president), LCSC Business Advisory Board (past member). She is currently vice-chairman of the Lewiston Planning and Zoning Commission (past chairman). She also provides tax seminar presentations for local companies and community organizations. Professional affiliations include membership with Idaho Society of CPA’s (ISCPA), the American Institute of CPA’s (AICPA), and the North Idaho Chapter of CPA’s.
